Connie Formson is currently leading the work on Farmer Seed Enterprises at Oxfam in the Netherlands. The work on farmer seed enterprises within SD=HS is focused on empowering smallholder farmers as professional seed producers who are able to effectively market their seeds in different markets. Prior to Oxfam she worked with a number of NGOs and within the UN system on various programs focused on poverty reduction, economic development, social protection and community resilience. She has an M.A. in Development Economics from the Erasmus University’s International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands.
