From 10 – 13 May the 47th climate change adaptation conference ‘Adaptation Futures’ welcomed 1700 participants from more than 100 countries.
The hosts of this conference (PROVIA, the European Commission and the Government of the Netherlands) set the goal that Adaptation Futures 2016 should not just be a four-day event, but create a lasting influence on all concerned about adaptation. Therefore, the ‘So What’ questions were formulated: “What is the challenge you discussed during your session?”, “How has your session helped to address this challenge?” and “What next steps are needed, and by whom?”
